In the last part of the 1890s, German scientific expert Hans Goldschmidt built up an aluminothermic (thermite) measure for delivering without carbon chromium. Somewhere in the range of 1904 and 1911, a few scientists, especially Leon Guillet of France, arranged compounds that would be viewed as hardened steel today
